What would you like to see in a new fixture?

X-Spot Xtreme has a lot of features but
I would need much more light output (1-2K)
greater zoom
and a better Prism Solution

I agree. I'd love to see prisms that really work! Coemar, Martin can do it, (cough) but high end has yet to put the prism close enough to the end to really be effective. (sorry guys but its true)

I vote for a return of the Trackspot. I'd say that thing is by far the best bare bones moving mirror club fixture. If it were brought back I would wish that the colors would be more vivid.

(Not on list...but here's my choice)

Return of the Emulator...but with modifications of course. Brighter, DMX controllable direct....

I have had so many shows that it would be a lot of fun on, but I've never had the chance to get them.

I would love a new Emulator. I would also like a new 1200watt framing spot. Maybe as a brother to the studio command 1200. It is sad that the only HES fixture that you can have framing shutters on is a DL2 or Axon. I would settle for a 700watt version. I would just like something to compete with the boys in Dallas.

We really need a 1200W spot around here too...

I love the Emulators, but you light a candle and they dissappear...

I'd love to have Tracspots come back. Still the fastest most used fixture in the world in its output range. I can sell them all day long. Emu's rock too. Funny how what I asked for first has become the Showgun. But the price is a bit over the top for me.;)

I would like to see a scanner that is physically smaller than the technobeam, has a 575 watt lamp, only needs a 110VAC and has rotating gobs, effects, an LAD, color mixing, and an iris. Also, durable enough for the road like a trackspot (even after 15 years). That would be my perfect fixture. If you build them, I'll take thirty. And the rest of the planet will probably take an additional 10 million.
It really can't be THAT difficult.

I'd love sealed lens x.spot ... I love how many effects its got built in .. with a kickass prism would be cool too.

I myself would like to see a smaller version of the shogun that was aimed at the corporate/club market.
I understand the thinking behind the shogun and admire all the new features including the LED,hard edge soft edge but think that a smaller more compact version would be very cool,same channel count etc but in a smaller housing with maybe a 700 version..

I'm thinking about a 1200 watt tungston spot with a 2 gobo wheels, HUGE zoom, BRIGHT, and nice and quiet.

i want to see a re worked cyberish light....mirror, 700-1200 watt class...There is no fancy dancy fx that can beat a 0 sec snap movement chase...

I want to see the studio command color mixing fixed....i see way to many color artifacts and the mixing is not smooth accross the beam...and why when are they in congo(dark moody) do i have to deal with a bright white/silver color at the snout of the light. when i look up....kinda ruins the reason to do a congo only wash. Maybe just make me a 1200 watt studio color(IMHO the best wash light ever)
