Not really. You are pretty much stuck taking out the whole color/dimmer flag module to do any type of motor replacement. Especially since the #1 motor is all the way down close to the sled.
You may want to consider replacing all 8 motors on this module if the unit is very old to save yourself from having to do the job all over again when another one fails. Being so close to the heat from lamp does these motors in over time.
Let us know if you need tips in taking the module out and working on it.
It´s the first time i change a motor from a cyberlight. I have managed a quite long allen screwdriver so it looks like easier to take out the module than the begining. anyway is interesting the idea of changing all the motors.
If you do change them, do them one at a time paying close attention to the height of the flag on the motor. You must put the flag on the new motor exactly where it was before or flags will collide causing major failure and broken dicros.:nono: After assembly pull all the flags in together and make sure none touch. Check each color carefully. Then check as a whole. Take your time, check it all twice. You will be glad you did.:D
** color flags only go in one way!! Reverse them and you will soon be tearing the unit back down and replacing color flags. Mark the arm on the side away from the lamp to ensure you dont make this mistake.
