Sola HyBeam2000 Zoom Angle Mode

Hi,

There is a Beam Mode and a Wash Mode option in the specs sheet. The difference between are two zoom angles (7-38D and 10-46D).

In the Manual is no option discribed how to switch the modes and in the EOS Fixture Library is only one Template with Zoom Range 5-45D.

I need to know the right Beam Angle because i have to switch some SolaWash 2000 to the HyBeams2000.

Thanks for Help

  • Wow, what a mystic light.

    1. The Manual on the Webside has a detailed DMX Table that is broken, because the last 1/3 of content is missing. (The DMX chart PDF helps)

    2. In the Manual i can read smoething about "Beam angle: zoom from 8.5 -38.5"

    3. if i search the Manual about Zoom/Angle, nearly nothing is found

    4. if i serach the manual about wash/spot NOTHING is found

    5. EOS Fixtures states zoom from 5-45

    6. The Datasheet tells me "Extremely powerful 7°–46° zoom" on Page 1
and "Beam Angle Range 7°–38° Wash Angle Range 10°–46° " on Page 2

Manual from the ETC Webside "Version 1.3 -- Revision A"
Datasheet from ETC Webside "Datasheets | C, 03-2021 | English"

Stafan, yout hit a jackpot by finding this.
Maybe you should swap over to a HyBeam 3000.
It should have a "Extremely powerful 4.5°-50° Zoom"
But it is a bit brighter.
