DL3 change type DL2

Hi,
I am about to program a show on a Hog
Ipc using DL3 fixtures which I know I
am going to have to use DL2 fixtures at
a later point.My questions are.
1.Can you change type between DL3 and
DL2 fixtures?
2.What is going to make this easier and
less complicated now before I program
the show.

tips and any advice would be good.

It is pretty much a seamless process, but you will want to make sure that you DO NOT build your palettes as "Per Type" or you will run into issues once changed. Go with "Global". I got burned by this once and it cost me a lot of time.

The other thing to look out for is that the stock content is different, so don't use any of the addtional content on DL.3 as you won't have these files when you step down to DL.2s.
