DL.3 Problem,

I have 2 problem with our dl.3



First one, I have a dl.3 that wont powerup. The motor etc start but the server wont start. To make it start I need to jump the power pin inside the computer enclosure, even if everything is wired correctly it wont start like if the ‘vitual’ button that start the engine isn’t working.

Second one, I don’t have access to the screen, I don’t know which cable send the Menu to the screen but I don’t get it. I See that its powered and it’s backlit but no menu.

    Hello Anthony,

    First problem:
    Please press and hold the upper and lower button next to the display.
    This will act as power switch for the internal server.
    You are on the right way, if the server is switching on!
    If the server stays off again after power cycle, it is probably a wrong setting in the Bios.

    Second problem:
    There is a yellow plug connected with the grafics card, check if this is seated properly, as this is the source for the Front panel display.
