not my area of expertise, but i think it would be hard to find something that as decent dimmability (or dimmability at all) and fits into the fixture both spacewise and regarding optical path.

That may not be a problem, we may not need dimming, we're trying to squeeze more output out of the little guys.

I was running these Minis off a Doug Fleenor 8 Channel Wall Dimmer. I can't recall the specific model of the MR16 LED retrofits we used, but I'll try to get it for you later.
