I've a Source Four Ellipsoidal that's just dead. 'Stick a new bulb in it and still nothing.
Any ideas on how to fix it or who to contact in order to have it fixed?
Thanks!

When you say dead what do you mean? Are you getting power to the fixture? Have you tested straight power vs. dimmed power? Have you looked at the cap to see how the contacts in it look? If they are black this often means that you will need to get the cap re-wired?
Please let us know what you mean by "dead"

Hey Jared - I'm running the fixture into straight power with a new bulb and getting absolutely nothing (no light whatsoever).
What's the "cap" and where would I find it?
Thanks!
The cap is the part of the fixture where the wire for power goes into as well as where the lamp goes into the fixture. Take a look at the picture at the lamp housing assembly. It may be best to contact your local ETC rep for service of your units.

I'd also recommend that you meter the pin sockets on the cap to the connector (using the ohms/continuity setting). MAKE SURE that the fixture is NOT plugged in. A loose hot or neutral could be a cause this problem.
