the maintenance for a regular S4 is pretty basic: clean lenses, clean reflector (carefully), check shutters and lamp base, dust outside (plus make sure all the washers and clips are in place). I guess it's even more simple for a CS4 unit, since we can't access the LED engine.
we can dust the exterior, but what about the fan: is it sucking air INTO the unit to cool the Heat Sink, or pushing air out?
A tech here says that we shouldn't allow the fan to spin if blowing canned air into the fan unit to dust it. "it will build up a static charge." True or false?
Anything we need to pay special attention to when cleaning a CS4?
