colorsource 1.7/3.0

I just received a colorsource spot from repairs and notice that when I fire it up the firmware version showing is 3.0.0. All my other instruments are running 1.7.0 off an old non-upgraded Element. Do I need to update all the firmwares or is the 3.0.0 more directed for updated consoles? Thank you

No need to do anything different, treat the repaired fixture the same as you would the others. The repaired fixture is running 3.0 because it is running off of alternate hardware. The two fixtures will respond the same. Please check out this support article for more details.
