Hi,
The SMB Access to the mediaserver is controlled by username: Administrator and a password. Since this product is not maintained any longer can you share the credentials. This would help a lot, since the CMA application is hard to use

Hello Fredrik,
We did not make the Axon password protected. There may be an issue with the motherboard BIOS. I suggest replacing the BIOS battery and then restore defaults in the exit page of the BIOS.
Hi, Do you have any description/pictures where the battery is located on the Barco DML-1200?
/Fredrik
And there seems to be a password required for the Administrator user
We did not require a password to access CMA. If Axon is not booting or running correctly then this may be why it's asking for a password. See my previous reply about the BIOS battery.
If the Axon is running correctly, it would be best to try using the last version of CMA available here: MA v1.0.3.525 (Content Management Application) (Note: to use install Microsoft WSE 3.0 first)
Microsoft WSE 3.0 must be installed before installing the CMA.
Hi Chris,
I'm sorry, I might have been unclear with my goal.
My goal is to replace the CMA with a custom application, that uses SMB to access the filesystem of the Axon Media server. So the question is about the user/passwd for the SMB access between CMA and the server.
/Fredrik
I do not think this will be possible due to the proprietary communication between Axon and the CMA.
Hi,
Would you consider to share this information, as the product is not supported any longer.
Or do you have an API to CMA that could be used?
/Fredrik
I'm sorry, but we will not be able to share. I suggest using the latest CMA.
OK, thanks.
Is there any API to CMA so I can have an external application accessing it, e.g. Upload File X to Folder Y
/Fredrik
I'm sorry, but CMA is the only app that we have for this.
Yes, that is crystal clear.
But my question is if the CMA application provide an interface/API so I can access it from another application
/Fredrik
CMA is a standalone app.
CMA is a standalone app.
