Hello Leah, What I was thinking of doing is to run chroma-q color blocks DB4s. These can run in RGB mode and also HSI. HSI mode also includes the extra control channels to allow you to use the in-built effects. What I was wanting to do is control the DB4 by both pixelMAD and normal DMX control by merging 2 different DMX sources together. However for this to work it would require pixelMAD to output HSI dmx and not RGB dmx.
