sACN Multicast from the EOS into a Vivid Pixel Driver via Cat5e

We have done several projects that use ETC control sending sACN to non=-ETC devices. As noted in previous posts, as long as the product has implemented sACN to the standard, there should be no issues. This is actually the backbone on why sACN is so great. Just like DMX, as long as the manufacturer develops using the published standard, everything is interoperable.

We don't have any experience with this specific company, but they do list that their supply supports sACN using both multicast and unicast. . The sACN output from all ETC products uses multicast sACN so this should work fine. They support up to 7 universes which is far more than you need for you 240 pixels.

If you can get them to provide a sample supply to us, we would be happy to test this for you before you purchase.
