DMX-RDM One Port Ethernet gateway problem

Hi Simon,

 

Are all these One Port Gateways the same exact Version of Hardware, meaning they have three LEDs on them?

If so, then its possible that some have an IP address that isn't in your subnet. Please open the Concert Software and

then you have the function under OPTIONS -> "Find unreachable devices." This will find the Gateways with a different subnet.

Then you can give them an IP in your subet via that function, and then you can find them in UpdaterAtor.

They all have 2 LEDs...1 for Network Data and 1 for DMX Signal as they are the PoE versions.

I`ll give the above information a try and see what happens.

Good Morning Simon,

I am glad that worked! -

Were the Subnets of the Gateways 169.x.x.x ? If so, that means the Gateways did not find a DHCP Server when they came on the first time, and took a random IP in the range 169.x.x.x - this allows them to at least react to sACN Data, and Output DMX.

Just to let you know, if the Gateways only have 2x LEDs (NET, DMX) on the front, and not 3x LEDs (Power, Network, DMX), These are only sACN/DMX Gateways, but do not Support RDM.
