Updatorator via ETC Element 2

Hi all - 

I have tried running updatorator via our console directly plugged into a set of Colorsource pars. I was unable to get the fixtures to appear in updatorator, but they are visible to the console via RDM & controllable. Updatorator has all that it needs via save for console.

The simple solution is to update via a windows laptop instead, but I would love to figure out why the console is not able to push this update. 

CONSOLE: Element 2 running the latest version of EOS.

  • There are two aspects to being able to use Updaterator from a console: You need to have current firmware files, which you seem to have fetched through Save For Console. But the Updaterator software itself needs to be up-to-date as well, because sometimes update mechanisms for new fixture types or firmware versions change.

    Can you check which version Updaterator you have? The current version is 6.4.1.0.
