Working in a venue that is primarily configured with an Ion Xe where everything is over SACN. We’ve had a touring show come in and set up their MA for PC with console wing. And we’ve run into a priority issue(?)
The two consoles stomped on each other when they were both on, but we’ve sat down to programme and when we turned the Ion off to clear the overlap, the MA had control for a minute then lost all control.
We have a network cable running to the ma in the house, and I’m suspicious that when the ion turns off the whole network goes away. The ma *should* be in the correct IP range.
Any thoughts?
