Harmonics in LED Lighting Systems

I am trying to find out if harmonics is a concern in an entirely LED lighting system.

I have not run into issues with harmonics in the past, but it has recently been brought to my attention that it may be a concern. I am currently designing a lighting system for a theatre, and I plan to install 60-70 LED fixtures (CS Spots and Pars). Should I be installing a harmonics mitigating transformer?

Any info that anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

  • ETC fixtures seem to have pretty good compensation on their power supplies. THD isn't listed in the data sheets but should be available. I do school projects that have 100's of LED fixtures in the halls and class rooms. Less than 10% THD seems to get past the electrical engineers.
