I bought a Gadget 2 about a month ago and it has been working great up until about 1 Week ago when it decided to stop working with me.
Luckily, I have no shows until the new year in which I'll need it again but I do have a friend who asked if they could use it soon and I'd love to be able to fix it up for them to be able to use.
My issue seems to be that no matter what computer I plug it into, it doesn't show up in any device manager or system information and it remains a red LED (manual says USB Enumeration).
I've tested multiple cables, multiple Eos Software Builds and about 5 different computers, both Mac and Windows-based.
Help would be much appreciated!
That sounds like a case for phone tech support. Wayyyy to many variables to solve here.
You can try manually installing the drivers if you see a device that shows up with a yellow ? in Device Manager on Windows following instructions here: https://support.etcconnect.com/ETC/Networking/Gadget_and_Gadget_II/Manual_Installation_of_Gadget_Driver_on_Windows
If it doesn't show up at all in Device Manager, check Windows Explorer for a drive called BOOTLOADER. If you see that follow these instructions: https://support.etcconnect.com/ETC/Networking/Gadget_and_Gadget_II/How_to_update_firmware_on_a_Gadget_II_stuck_in_bootloader_mode
If your issue fits neither of those descriptions, or those don't resolve the problem you definitely need to contact Tech Support.
