Why is my echo touch station shutting off the second echo touch station?

Are there other Echo products in your system?
What software version is your EchoTouchs on?
Are they both running DMX into the system?  If so are they going into a dmx gateway or via sACN?

You are correct, each Echo can only play back one preset per space at a time, so having them each in their own space should fix this. 

Is there by any chance a room or space combine option somewhere in your system, that would cause the two to basically overlap when that is activated.

I would also suggest reaching out to the dealer or contractor that installed it to ask them.

PThis is the pictures of the touch stations settings, since I’m running 2 different spaces they each have their own space set.

Can you clarify as your original post said Echo Touch Stations, what you have in your picture are Echo Button Stations.  Are these the only 2 button stations in your system?

My bad yes they are button stations, yes these are the only 2 in my system.

And are they the only Echo products in the entire system?  Do they directly connect to the Sensor3 rack?

Yes they are the only ones in the system. They are connected to our DMX gateway which in turn is connected to the dimmer racks

I see....I don't think that is a DMX gateway in your system then.  The Echo Button stations do not natively speak DMX.  Is the DMX Gateway you have look like this (Echo DMX Scene Controller)?



If so this may be the cause...the above device can only be located in one space. 

Sorry, no it’s going to our response system not DMX gateway, our other tech just let me know of this. 

Any chance to send pictures of how it's going into the response system?  Those two wires coming out of the button stations (black and white) are the EchoBus connection protocol. 

I think there is some additional equipment somewhere in the system.

Additionally if you happen to have any paperwork or order information we could look up the original order and try and see all of the equipment on that order.
Do you know who installed the system?

It was purchased under the City of Bakersfield. One of them was installed by the installers and the second one was installed by me. It was working just fine before the shutdown, but when we came back that’s when the problem of one shutting down the other when something was selected. 

Hi John! We have quite a few projects with the name Bakersfield in the name, so it's a bit hard to narrow it down that way. I would recommend taking as many pictures of your system as possible and reaching out to our support team for assistance. If you provide them the address of the building where the product is installed, we should be able to look up the system from there. 

As Chris mentioned, the Echo Preset Stations you provided don't connect directly to the Response Gateways, so there is definitely some equipment in the middle somewhere. We can help you more once we can find out a bit more about your system.
