OSC being ignored by ION

Is the QLab computer's IP still the same as when it was working? If it's not static it might no longer be the same as the TX IP defined in Setup > Show Control.

I'm having the same problem - I can get the EosSyncDemo app to send commands to the ion from the machine with Qlab, but can find no way of getting the ion to respond to the same OSC command being sent from Qlab. Nothing is showing up in diagnostics or anything. It was all working fine earlier in the day and I have no idea what I could have changed! I can send the same command from Qlab to a nomad instance on the same machine, so it is all very odd. ideas appreciated!

If you guys are starting a second program that is using the same ports to send the OSC information then the first program may be loosing access to the port. Try rebooting the system and only start up Qlab and not EosSyncDemo on the same machine at the same time. Also what version of software are you using on the desk?

Make sure you don't have the same port number in String RX and OSC RX. If you are not using UDP then blank out the String RX port number or if you are change it to something different.

This will probably cause it to work then stop. There will be a change to stop you setting them the same in the future.
