Sending and receiving OSC with my laptop and a ETC Gadget2

In order to help you we will need additional information.  What software/hardware are you using to transmit OSC to the Nomad laptop?  

How do you know that the laptop is receiving the messages if Nomad isn't showing them in diagnostics(have you turned on the osc in and out monitoring?).

"Everything is enabled" is vague.  If you could provide more info and possibly images of the various places you have turned on and activated OSC we can try to help you diagnose what is or isn't setup properly.

 

I use my Acer F3-772G with Windows 10 Home version 1703. I have the ETC Gadget2 (V1.1.0.9.0.4) connected with USB 2.0 and the ETC Nomad software (V2.5.0.9.0.27).

The device that sends the OSC is an AcerF5-771G-76LA with Windows 10 Home version 1703. It sends them with ShowCueSystem (V11).

I have OSC monitor software on both laptops and both laptops are receiving the OSC commands. The ETC Nomad soft5ware on the other hand doesnt see a thing. Not even in the diagnostics with OSC monitoring on.

Showcontrol settings:
String RX: Enabled
String RX group IDs: 1
String RX Port: 53000 (Same as in the other laptop)
OSC RX portnumber: 0

Shell settings:
UDP Strings & OSC: Check

Forget the string Rx port, it has nothing to do with OSC. Use OSC Rx port. It needs to be the same as SCS OSC transmit port

It is, we also have 0 in SCS

try setting SCS tx port and Eos Rx port to 8001

I don't think port 0 is acceptable. Have you tried port 8001? This is one of the more used port numbers for OSC RX. As Ueli has stated the String RX ports/group id's don't matter for OSC.
