Using Built-In and USB network interface simultaneously (ION)

Is there any way to use the integrated ethernet interface for an sACN network setup, and then attach a USB ethernet interface for our board control network? We use an OSC based app for remote control as well as the ETC aRFR Classic app.

If not, is it safe to connect our sACN node into our board control network? It also gives network access to another desktop for sound/video control.

just a side note: all Ions can be converted to win7 as far as i know. older models will get a Rebuild whereas newer once get an Upgrade. There is a support article: Ion Windows 7 Upgrade Eligibility…

There should no problem with sACN because it is a multicast based protocoll. If you have newer console there are two network ports. The old ones will not work with v3.x. An USB network adapter will not work.
