Response Midi Gateway USB Issues

I have an IonXE and Response Midi Gateway which is connected via USB.  When I send a midi signal to the gateway the In (y/n) on the front panel just flickers from Y to N but I am receiving no timecode on the console.  The flickering seems to be consistent in that it flashes Y three times then N once and repeats.  I know the midi signal coming in is good as I have tested it on other devices including and older Ion with the onboard Midi input.  I have tried using different USB ports and also set it up on the network.  Same problem.

Has anyone else come across this issue before?

    Hi....We had a comparable issue and it ended up being an under-fueled USB port, so have a go at exchanging where your interface is connected. A quicker reset is to go into inclinations and un-click midi control, close inclinations, then, at that point, open and once again click midi control. Be that as it may, I'd take a stab at exchanging the USB first!
