get a look at tab 99. does Eos claim to be sending both OSC commands?
Hello Diamond556,
do you had any progress in figuring it out?
I can confirm that I have sent OSC from an Eos console to five discrete IP addresses at the same time with no go-between software. One must add each of those addresses to the OSC UDP TX IP Address in Setup with space or comma or semicolon between each one. It might look like this:
Note that by specifying "10.101.50.105:53000" I am telling Eos software to override the "OSC UDP TX Port" setting for 10.101.50.105 and instead send to port 53000.
So far as I am aware there is not a specific limit to the number of addresses you could specify here, but I have only confirmed working up to 5.
I've been using this and have discovered I can enter 16 addresses before hitting what seems to be a limit in the text field. Does anyone know if it is possible to extend that?
Beyond 16 you would need to use a program like OSCrouter to repeat the messages. I would investigate if TCP is an option for you instead of unicast UDP.
Or use the subnet's broadcast address. Not very clean, but sometimes still the right tool.
appreciate the response, thanks. I think we have found a a way of repeating from one of the devices.
