Is there a way to retrieve an effect's bpm via OSC?

I've tried using  /eos/get/fx/900/bpm to no avail. Maybe I have the wrong structure, I can find very little on bpm combing through the documentation.

Thank you!

  • this could be an idea I don't have any Lighting bars to strobe right now for you make strobe fx and change the Attributes
then make is as a Macro

    syntax to create the macro

    alt + L
    M 1

    Learning Macro 1

    chan 1 t 10 at full enter
    alt + e Effect 1 enter

alt + L to stop learning Macro

    2) go to Fader Config

add the macro of the BPM Sync so when you move the fader up the submaster is active then trigger the macro to create the strobe

    3) warning tho you need to make another macro of the same effect but with the strobe off to stop THIS!!!!

    or it will keep strobing
potentially could do 1 thru 10 @ effect enter to stop also not sure I never tested that
I always build my subs with macros on and off to keep it handy for busking so I hope this helps

please get back to me with your results I'm curious about your creations my friend
