Move group of light with OSC

Create a focus palette and add the channel of your SEM in the 'Track SEM'-field. There is a softkey for that.
No need to store any other information into the FP.
Assign the FP to the group of moving heads and they will follow your guy.

Any actual per-channel focus information you store into the FP will be used as an offset from your movables position.
For example if you store channel one at Z=+1 , it's beam will always hit 1 meter above the objects position.

Have submitted a suggestion for the command "Group 99 Follow Chanel 1 Z-offset 1.0" to do the same thing. Little easier, so I don´t need to go via "Track SEM".
