ETC Eos Offline and Wysiwyg on same computer

It's fine with wyswyg R28 and win XP.

be sure that EDMX is on in the wyg setup and output in offline and ETCnet2 in eosoffline.

I have checked both of those settings. WYSIWYG says receiving EDMX: No devices connected.

this information does not concern the EMDX. you needn't use the console manager. if you have ETCnet2 information, wisywyg have got a native connection with it. you must be sure that EDMX is ok. you can show in DATA mode the EDMX level in the EMDX patch window.  

edmx does not show any levels in the patch menu when used with the offline editor. When this computer is networked with the EOS console, Wysiwyg works fine, it just doesn't work with the offline editor.

Sorry for the issues you've been experiencing.  At this time, it is not possible to have Eos offline and Wysiwyg running on the same machine - they need to be on two separate computers. This was due to some engineering changes that we made with software version 1.9.5 -- for Net2, the visualization and console offline software need to be running on separate PCs.

Sorry for the inconvenience!  I will work on getting this in wiki documentation.

I can tell you it's not true for Capture Polar, but can't speak for any other visualizers.

I currently have it working on the same machine as Lightconverse...

All,

This only affects software that listens to Net2 on the same computer. Visualizers that use other protocols would be unaffected.
