ETC Eos Offline and Wysiwyg on same computer

I know this has been asked many times, but I have not seen an actual answer posted, several threads have ended with "call us". Has Anyone been able to get Eos Offline and wysiwyg R29 to operate on the same computer?

I have read the Eos Offline and WYSIWYG, Eos Pre-visualization, KnowledgeBase: Connecting Congo and Eos-Family Consoles to a Visualiser posts but still haven't been able to get this to work.

I have also tried to disable both the firewall and anti-virus programs.

Running on a Windows 7 x64 Machine. I have also tried this on a windows XP x32 machine with no luck.

-thanks

  • Hi there,

Sorry for the issues you've been experiencing.  At this time, it is not possible to have Eos offline and Wysiwyg running on the same machine - they need to be on two separate computers. This was due to some engineering changes that we made with software version 1.9.5 -- for Net2, the visualization and console offline software need to be running on separate PCs.

Sorry for the inconvenience!  I will work on getting this in wiki documentation.
