Hi there
I've just finished reprogramming the show I am currently with onto the EOS. Here are some things I noticed while programming
1- When executing cues with multiple parts, and each part having there on delay time, it would be handy to see when each part is being triggered. At present there is only the overall countdown for the cue, so it's hard to tell when a particular part is starting to run. Maybe a countdown on all fade times, delays, etc for each part.
2- It would be great to be able to put a delay on an effect stop. Currently when a "stop" command is in a cue, it is triggered at the start of the cue. Even if I put a delay on the channels, or put the channels into a different part with a delay on the part, the stop command is still triggered at the top of the cue. Anne - I know you have already mentioned that effect entry/exit times will be inherited from cues they are attached to. Will they also follow any delays on a cue / cue-part? It would be really neat if they did
3- Is it possible to alter the size/rate on a single channel in an effect. For example, I have 8 wobblies doing a circle effect out into the audience and the 2 units on the 3 Bar are clipping the border immediatly DS of them. Is it possible to change the size of those 2 unit only, or do I have to make a copy of the effect, apply the effect to those 2 units only, and adjust the size on the new effect.
4- On the subject of fading size/rate values in cues. Where does the time for this fade come from. For example, in Q5 I set all ML's to effect 901 (circle) with a size and rate of 0. In Q 6, size and rate increase to 100. Where does the fade time come from. Is it inherited from the cue, or from elsewhere?
5- On the effect status page I can only view 7 effects. There are times in the show where there are more than 7 effects running. I couldn't find a way to page down to view the other effects. Is there a way to do this?
6- Snapshots triggered from and execute command in a cue seem to take a while to actually execute (i think). From what I can gather, the snapshot is executed immediatly, but the faders do not move to where they should be for a few seconds. I haven't played around with this all that much, but it was something I noticed that I thought I should pass on.
8- This is more of a wishlist item - but would it be possible to recall beam pallets and focus pallets by their text lable. This would be particularly useful for beam pallets by being able to recall from a text lable instead of trying to remember lots of numbers.
Cheers - BFJ
