iRFR connection

Hello all,

I have recently purchased an iPhone 4 and downloaded the iRFR app to work with my space's Ion.  I had some issues with initial setup but after going through previous forum posts I'm connected to the router I needed and the app is reading the signal from the board fine in the tests.  However, as soon as I go to actually connect to the board, it immediately tells me "No Connection, Connection failed, Connection refused."  Has anybody else dealt with this problem before and know how to fix it?

  • Make sure that the IP address in setup is the IP address of the console (you can find this in the shell or About with a clear command line) and that the IP address doesn't match what your phone has. (Every now and then, we run across a case where the phone was manually entered to have the same IP, and then the app would try to connect to the phone itself.)

Otherwise, definitely re-check the password. If it is the "OEM-random numbers and letters" name, feel free to change it to something a bit more easy to spell. You can find that in the Shell under General.
