aRFR app not working

Hi,

I have the full version of the aRFR android app and was trying to connect to work's GIO yesterday but couldn't get it to connect. I have typed in all the details correctly and set up the desk, but when I go to the 'home screen' of the app and choose the console ready to connect, the 'connect' button is greyed out. I am definatly connected to the wireless router the desk is plugged into but the 'connect' button on the app is constantly greyed out.

Someone else on the team is using the iRFR app with no problems, any suggestions?

  • If the {Connect} button remains grey, that means there is no communication between the phone and the console. 

    This could either be an incorrect IP address entered for the console you're connecting to or the phone is not using the setup to work with the router correctly.

    If the iRFR is working, then the console and router are setup correctly, so there is something not working correctly with the aRFR phone.

    i have a question for you. Firstly i have a galaxy s2 and i bought the full version of the arfr app. it worked fine from inception and also on the first update which was ice cream sandwich. i updated again to jellybean os and now for some strange reason it doesnt want to connect to my ion console at work. the connect button is white and as soon as i open it it is saying connection error disconnected from the console. Could you help me please
