aRFR app not working

If the {Connect} button remains grey, that means there is no communication between the phone and the console. 

This could either be an incorrect IP address entered for the console you're connecting to or the phone is not using the setup to work with the router correctly.

If the iRFR is working, then the console and router are setup correctly, so there is something not working correctly with the aRFR phone.

i have a question for you. Firstly i have a galaxy s2 and i bought the full version of the arfr app. it worked fine from inception and also on the first update which was ice cream sandwich. i updated again to jellybean os and now for some strange reason it doesnt want to connect to my ion console at work. the connect button is white and as soon as i open it it is saying connection error disconnected from the console. Could you help me please

   I am having the same problem. I am using an original galaxy tab 7" .  as soon as I connect to the console I loose the wireless.  Other devices have no problem staying connected.  As long as I am not doing anything it will stay connected.  Is there a setting in the Tab I have to change?

I'm having the same problem! My HTC expression running ice cream sandwich has no problem, but my nexus 10 with jellybean will connect, and immediately disconnect, similar to the issue you were experiencing. Did you find a fix?

I've been having trouble getting either of my iRFR or aRFR apps to connect to my offline shell on my windows laptop, has anyone had any experience of some little detail that's easily overlooked that i might of missed?

Paul, i've done this quite recently. in the shell, make sure you have ticket WiFi Remote in Shell > Network > Interface Protocols. and i think you can't make it work through wireless directly but you need an Access Point. and of course you need to be in an IP range (with a subnet mask) that makes sense (but avoiding using the same IP address)...

It sounds like the the password on your Nexus 10 is incorrect.  If it connects and then immediately disconnects, that generally points to the password not matching.
