Multi-console error with one console

We'll need a little more information:

• What version number of Eos Family software are you running?*
• What is the complete error message?
  • An (in-focus!) photo is probably the easiest way.
• What is the IP address of the console?
  • The default IP settings for an Ion are:
    Obtain Automatically: OFF
    IP: 10.101.100.101
    Subnet: 255.255.0.0
    GW: 10.101.1.1

The setting in the Shell is for choosing which network card(s) MultiConsole should use, not whether or not it runs.
This is how the console connects to Clients (including Mirror Mode) or a Backup console. It won't try to connect to anything else.
I would suggest enabling it for the Ion's network card because there's no reason at all to give it no network cards.

You may need to reinstall the Net3-Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) v3.1.1 package - download from here.

Is there a reason for the console being set to "Obtain an IP automatically"?

Unless you have a specific reason that this is necessary, it should not be ticked. This is likely to be the cause of the issue.

The vast majority of installations should use the default IP settings.
For an Ion:

Obtain an IP Automatically: OFF
IP: 10.101.100.101 (to 10.101.100.253)
Subnet: 255.255.0.0
GW: 10.101.1.1

Unless you have a reason not to, please try the default settings.

If the default settings don't fix it or you have a reason for the original settings, try downloading and reinstall the Net3-Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) v3.1.1 package - download from here.
This may correct the issue.

Also if you wait about minute, does that warning go away and the console start?

What's happening is that the application is starting before several services that the application uses have been started.  This warning is saying that not all services are ready and you are trying to run the application without those services.  If you press {Start Anyway} the application will start mostly likely in Offline mode.

I recommend pressing {Cancel} and then select {Primary} to start the console and the application should start up.

As a test, I unchecked "Obtain an IP address automatically" but left the IP address the same.  I rebooted the console and when it came back up it had a different message.  After a few seconds it went away and finished loading the application.
