I want to recall a part of a cue with unused channel

Hello

this an exemple to explain my question:

I have a cuelist with a cue 9 (third cue of the show) inside, only few channels work, the other main channels will appear in cue 14.

If I use "recall from cue 9", all state is loaded with all 0% for all unused channel

if I use "channel 1 through 24 recall from cue 9". only used channel bring back to there levels.

How grab 0% for unused channels ? I have try to make a block cue for 9 but it is the same result. I understand that Eos copy only values which were stored but maybe an new option like Recall from {State} will be a good way. (it is a Compulite and Hog option).

Thanks for your answer,

maybe there is a way with "copy to" but I'm in the dark with this problem.

  • Salut pilou

After recall from, you could use Query Isn't In Cue 9 Enter Sneak Enter.

  • Ps: there is also a softkey: Recall From Cue x {Only Active} Enter

  • it is not the anwser of my question.

    this is an example :

    Cue 1 : 50/80

    Cue 5 : 50/0

    Cue 7 : 30-40/25

    Cue 9 : 24/50 and 30-40/25

    Cue 10 : 1-20/10  24/60  30-40/25

    Cue 20 : 1-20/10  21-24/75 30-40/0

    Cue 100 : BO

    Cue 109 : copy of Cue 9 : 24/50 and 30-40/25

I make a copy of cue 9 in cue 109

    With cue 10 on stage, If I do : 1 thru 24 recall from cue 9, the result is : 1-20/10 24/50 30-40/25

    With cue 10 on stage, If I do : 1 thru 24 recall from cue 109, the result is : 1-23/0 24/50 30-40/25

the result is different with the same lighting state Q9 = Q109

We need an option to have the same result with or without unused channel.

The other long way is : after the recall from Q9, do : 1thru 24 - select manual out.

  • Ok, i understand now. So which behaviour do you think is the right one?

I was wrong about the softkey, because it only works when you use no channels in front of Recall From. But I think you would be ok, if 1 thru 24 Recall From Cue 109 OnlyActive would work, because the tracked zeroes from cue 109 wouldn't be recalled.

    Do you agree?

  • I know use Only Active, but I want to grab all values for my selection values and zero !

The same action with the same cue must do the same result for the best work.

If I recall from Q9 for a part of channels, I miss 0 values for all unused channels...

if I recall from Q109 (same state) for a port of channels, I have all values for my selection.

only active works fine with Q9 and Q109.

  • If you put 1-24 @0 in cue 1 or make a cue 0.1 that is all channels at 0 does this fix the problem? My suspicion is that in q9 the channels have a null value, so in q 10 it doesn't see them. When recalling q109 the channels have a value, so it knows what to do with them.
