Designer Playback Lockout Feature

I wanted to know if there is a way a designer can be a second user (so they can change screens independently), but be locked out from being able to run cues, record, update? I know you could remove the keyboard at the designer desk, but some have their own custom keyboard to move around the system (which means they do what they want).

One way might be using x-keys. You could program the keys to whatever you want them to be and not have spacebar (GO) and record/update on them. Or you record snapshots and macros and load them onto the buttons of your RVI (I think that works....)
