Hi all, let me introduce myself. I am the Lighting Master at my High school. I am supposed to know everything about lighting and I plan to specialize in the field.
When I earned my title after learning some stuff through the grape vine I still have a void in knowledge when it comes to lighting.
My dept. has an ETC ION and Express
We have 3 Sensor Racks and one Colortran rack. as well as sACN/Net3/Net2 gateways
We have a massive supply of S4 and CYC lights
With the ION we have the RFU
the basics of patching lights and such I know. but How can I take advantage of some of things I have like net2 2-port gateways.
P.S. I told one of my gateways to update software and now it has said "Downloading from [Insert IP Address] and it has said that for the past 3 days.... and I can't control DMX through it anymore.
