How to create a virtual device?

If the cyclight cells are in sequential order  (Unit 1 in Dimmer 1 through 3) then just assign it as a generic RGB led fixture with the start address as the first dimmer in the unit.  The console doesn't really know what it is controlling.  It is just sending DMX.

Sorry, unfortunately they are in sequential order. That would much more easy.

I liked you idea. I have tried it out, at at least the whole group of floods work as a single fixture/channel. I could not make the color picker work, but it does not matter, it has simplified the whole process.

What I meant is that there are not in sequential order (just one word can change the whole meaning...)

1. Patch a dummy channel as Generic | LED RGB | 8B (only patching this so that you have it in your list of Favorites

2. Copy the fixture three times, renaming the copies "Red+HS", "Green+HS", "Blue+HS"

3. Edit each fixture to assign each colour as appropriate to DMX 1. Set the others to DMX 0 so that they are still in the fixture but without an address offset - and therefore still create Hue/Sat

4. Patch a channel with part 1 as type Red+HS, part 2 as Green+HS, part 3 as Blue+HS. Patch each part to an address as needed.

5. Go to Live, the Color Picker now works!
