ETC Ion - MIDI Show Control

Midi comes in different flavors. Midi show control is one of them, there is also midi control change, program change and some others. And while I'm not an expert for sound consoles, I think an ls9 only supports the latter midi protocols but not msc.

Eos family consoles can output midi control and program change ( through the midi raw feature ) but they won't interpret such input...

After looking through the manual and talking with Yamaha customer service, I learned that changing cues isn't an option but there are plenty of other things that are.
