Universal Fader Wing not connecting

Not onsite right now, but I have a theatre who just called to tell me that their universal fader wing is not working. It is showing the "Electronic Theatre Controls" text on it but no data is flowing.

It's mounted to the side of the console - they say that the console hasn't been moved or jostled and it's clearly getting a power connection. Had them run a separate USB cable but that yielded the same results.

Any ideas on what I should have them try before I get a chance to go take a look later?

USB cable will be the place I would go first as well. I would work on checking to see if under the maint tab, if its there, and maybe looking at manualing configuring the fader panel, it may not be automatically attaching.

I've had this same issue with my ION, but it has been nearly two years. After talking with tech support. They told me to use the usb cables. They knew about some people having problems with using the side connectors.

If memory serves, you don't want the wing physical attached while also connected via USB.

I'd have the user go into Setup and to Fader Wing Configuration, to see if the wing shows up. I've had luck just unplugging and re-plugging the wing USB cable in this screen and have the wing appear. Also have them do a reboot with the wing powered during the boot process.
