Hi there,
In the offline software download, the installer adds a "Documentation" folder link to the desktop. Inside there, there will be a pdf that goes through the library contents in the current version.
Thanks!
Hans
The Color Force fixture in HSI mode is a known issue. However, the fixture's HSI mode is more than 180 degrees off. If we were to try and map the Hue value to a DMX value, the resulting color on the fixture, and the hue % that Eos would need, you'd find the following:
DMX | Color | Eos Hue |
0% | Blue | 240 deg |
33% | Green | 120 deg |
66% | Red | 0/360 deg |
100% | Blue | 240 deg |
This is one of a few fixtures we know of with a different HSI wheel than what we currently use -- it would have to be more in-depth than a profile change to fix. For the time being, we recommend using any of the non-HSI modes available.
Thanks!
Hans
Not sure if this is a profile problem, or a bug in the software.
I'm running some Martin Viper Profiles on my Eos Ti.
After upgrading to 2.1.2, I suddenly can't focus any of my gobo wheels when the zoom is at 10deg. To get a sharp image, I have to zoom to anywhere from 12deg to 18deg, depending on which wheel I'm using.
I never had this problem before and it isn't happening on any other fixture types that I have. It is happening on all my Viper Profiles.
Any suggestions??
Lorin -- good question.
Looking at the Mac Viper - I do see controls for the indexing gobos at the end of the animation wheel - they are under the "Macros" mode in Animation Select. Selecting this and togging between "Open Index EffMacro 1" through "7" toggled the DMX values correctly for each of these static wheels.
It looks like this was named an Effect Macro because it's actually snapping to predefined positions on the Animation Wheel - not actually changing out the gobo for another gobo.
This was working for me in both 2.1.2 and the coming 2.2.0 version of software.
Thanks!
Hans
I did try that Hans. But I was rushed so I'm not confident. I'll try tomorrow. Placing this as a 'macro' is misleading. It should be placed in the animation wheel indexing mode option, IMHO, as it is a function if the animation wheel. Or perhaps a new mode for the animation wheel.
Thanks for the reply,
Lorin Sly
There are some issues with the Showtec Expression 33000 Zoom in advanced mode:
The profile is missing the amber colour parameter (should appear after white). There's also a 'dimmer curve' parameter in the profile that doesn't seem to match anything on the unit.
Everything else seems to be working, although I haven't tried most of the control and colour mix options.
The basic mode presumably needs an amber channel too.
Thanks,
Chris
b78, Nomad PC, Ion
Martin Mac 600E and other Martins also
two points:
The Beamshaper of the 600s is now from 0 to -100... usefull would be 0 to 100 (now i have to build my Home Preset with -100 values?)
The 2nd Colorwheels are not showing values in the colorpicker, not bad, but i miss it in the MS. I like to see dierctly what Color my fixtures are. but it is only working with the first / CMY colorwheel.
Thanks
Tilmann
So it appears I was mis informed. The Viper Profile has the static gobos. The performance does not. Sorry for the confusion. I'm sure it works a peach with that fixture and indeed the macros snap to those values
Thanks
