Effects question

Hi Chris:

The other user can save a show file and give you that file.  You can then use the MERGE function via the Browser to bring in only the effects from that show (Navigate to Merge>Show File, then only select effects before hitting {OK}). This will then allow you to use those effects in your show.  It will save with the show file and not to the desk itself.

Keep in mind that these effects may reference channels or palettes that do not exist in your show, so they may not work right away on your console.  It may be best just to look at their show file as a whole to better understand how they created the effect.
