in the shell, choose Settings, then Maintenance and Save Logs. you will need a usb drive. when you have that, call ETC's hotline:

It sounds like you may have installed the library patch onto a console that was not running the latest software.  The library patches are only meant to be installed on consoles running the latest and greatest-  in this case v2.2.1.

If this is the case go ahead and give us a call at tech support (Ueli has already conveniently posted the info) and an uninstaller can be sent.  Then you will be able to update the console to the most recent code and run the patch again.

I thought the latest is 2.3.1

yes, jeff it is, but May 7 when the original poster asked, the most current version was 2.2.1
