There is one internal relay (with both normally-open and normally-closed terminals) on the back of your console. This can be used for sending contact closure signals to other devices, or (with some wiring) for applying up to 1A at 30V power to an external source. If your wafer fan draws less than this, you could use this relay to control that fan.
There also four contact closure inputs on the back of your console. These are dry contact inputs, and you should never apply any voltage to them. When you connect these terminals to ground, you can trigger many kinds of events in the Eos Show Control setup display.
With an I/O Gateway, you can add more relays and contact closures to your system.
