I'm looking at getting a couple external encoders to use for pan and tilt with Nomad. (The programming wing is too expensive and too large for my cart.) In particular, I'm looking at a Griffin Powermate USB but if anyone has a better idea or a different product they've been using, let me know.
I built this pan and tilt encoder wing based on an earlier version built by Andrew Webberley and using his firmware. It communicates via OSC and will work with any Eos family system. Pushing the left encoder puts pan and tilt into coarse mode and pushing the right encoder puts it into fine mode. It works great. I'm using it on the TV show "Faking It".
would love to build one too...albeit , I can't seem to find the link??
thanks for any assistance!
