Flash Intensity only

record just the intensity value to the sub... If there is no other data in the sub the lights will continue doing what they were doing just at full intensity.

If you already have a sub you can go into it in blind and select all the channels then hit [focus][color][beam] @ enter and it will get rid of all of that data.

You might try regular proportional subs, but with only intensity info recorded. Either use the Int filter when recording or go in Blind and delete all the color/position/ect stuff.

I haven't tried it, but I suspect you could use a magic sheet button or direct select as a bump. The trick would be getting a variable duration. It might take 2 buttons; On & Sneak back to level.

Thanks Druuka.....what i did was for existing Sub...go to blind as you say and open sub list and select sub and enter [shift][focus][color] etc of what every i want to get rid of and then @[enter]. That works great....especially if i want to get back and fix a sub.
on the saving just the intensity value, I checked with using record filters, but im clearly missing something.

Hi Richard, Druuka, had the right answer,.....well when i figure out the second part to do the initial save Sub with int. only.
What i often do is use my bump buttons like a keyboard and bump to beats...or flash for gun fire or a manual fire effect. that sort of thing. magic sheets, could work but not as efficiently.

to record selectively, there are multiple ways:
- Chan 1 Intensity Record Sub 1 Enter
- if the only manual (i.e. red) values are intensity you can use RecordOnly Sub 1 Enter
- a combination of the two...
- or set a Filter: Keep Filter pressed and in the CIA select Intensity. use Record Sub 1 Enter. afterwards don't forget to clear Filters, by Keeping Filter pressed and then choose Clear Filters in the CIA. NB: Filter is a positive choice, i.e. you choose the parameters you do want to record
