I know that it's bee on "the list" for a while, but i'd like to add my 2¢ that multi-cell support is very important to me.
The issue in this particular case: working around things like colorforces is easy when you patch each cell as its own channel. However, I have a Robe Robin 300LED Wash which has 3 concentric rings of color control that presents a bigger problem.
I'd like to break it into 4 channels:
- Master-- Pan, tilt, zoom, other universal functions
- Inner ring color control RGBW
- Middle ring color control RGBW
- Outer ring color control RGBW
BUT, the parameter breakdown in the fixture is some thing like this:
- Pan
- Tilt
- Red1
- Green 1
- Blue1
- Red2
- Green 2
- Blue 2... etc
- Zoom
So the issue is that the color is sandwiched between various fixture-wide parameters, so even if I make a custom profile, the color addresses are still being used up.
This is all to say I would really like to see native multi-cell support, and would be interested to hear if anyone has any workarounds for such fixtures. I'm attaching the manual.
