We have ETC Element and Grandmaster stopped working. How can I get it back?

Under Setup>Desk>Face Panel Keypad, is Grandmaster disabled, perhaps?  See attached screenshot.

Yes, Grandmaster is enabled.

Hmmm...  Here are two other ideas, but if neither of these solves it, I'd give Tech Support a ring.  They'll get you sorted in no time, I'm sure.

If you open the Virtual Keyboard (Tab 7), can you control the Grandmaster from there?  If you can, that would point to a hardware issue with your fader.

If not, check in Patch that your channels are not set as GM Exempt:

[Patch], and set your [Format] to Patch Channel.

Select a channel ([1][Enter], for example) and press the softkey for {Attributes}.  Check there that GM Exempt is Disabled for all of your patched channels.

Was a solution found for this? It seems one of our boards just developed the same issue.

So the grandmaster is activated in setup? Does it work for some channels but not others, or not at all? In the Shell, settings, maintenance there is a facepanel test, when you move the grandmaster did the display show that movement?

Thanks for the reply. Grandmaster is enabled and the issue affects all channels. I will try the face panel test next time I am at the console. The console in question is an Element that is only about a year old.
