Martin RoboScan 518 - No Control of Gobo Rotation Speed?

Looking at the manual for the Roboscan 812 it appears that the only speed adjustment available is the Color/Gobo Speed in 7 ch mode.  The encoder for this parameter in the in Color section.  

The manual is rather vague as to whether is should actually change the rotation speed or the gobo itself and it is also noted that it is only available when tracking mode has been enabled at the fixture itself.

I don't have 812s I have Roboscan 518s. The profile used to have gobo speed. According to the manual, gobo selection and gobo speed and rotation are all controlled by DMX channel 4.

0 = Open
1-24 = Gobo 1, CCW fast -> slow
25-27 = Gobo 1, static
28-51 = Gobo 1, CW slow -> fast

etc. etc.

You may have the profile stuck in "Snap" mode. Pick either Rot+ or Rot- mode to enable intermediate values. It works for me on Nomad and probably Ion although I'm not in front of a console to check.
