EOS GATEWAY problem

When we set our Eos board to Primary without connecting our RPU we get no DMX from the gateway but if we connect and set our RPU as Primary and the board as Backup we do get DMX.
If we then disconnect the RPU so the board takes over as a backup we still get DMX.
Why are we not getting any DMX from the EOS and the gateway when it is on its own as Primary?

Hi Paul,

I'm assuming the gateway is receiving sACN data - can you check the shell (Exit -> Settings -> Network -> Output Protocols) and compare/contrast the Eos and RPU settings?

I had a look and a couple of settings were different, output was set to release version on the Eos and draft version on the RPU. I set the EOS to the draft version and now it all works lovely.

Hi Paul,

glad that its working as you need now.

This means your receiving Network devices: Net3 Gateways, possibly Sensor CEM+ Racks can only receive sACN Draft Version. Its best

to see about having all the receiving devices (Net3 Gateways, CEM+s) updated to current Firmware, to make sure in the future there are less

complications. Please contact your dealer about having These devices updated.
