Do you have edge values recorded into your gobo beam pallet? If this is the case, it is most likely this data has been recorded into your cue as well. My suggestion would be bring the cue up onstage. Adjust the edge settings to get the desired look, then update the cue.
I'd suggest using the [update {make absolute}] to update your cue. If you have edge data recorded into the beam pallet with the gobo, using update - make abs will update the edge data as raw data into the cue. If you use update - update all, this will update your edge data back into your beam pallet and may cause undesired results through the rest of your show.
