Pixel map VMS output problem

 Hello Forum,

 

Gear:

-Nomad running on PC, 4 universes outputting via network cable

-Ion client mode, used as programmer control surface

-RVI

-Net3 Gateway, outputting 4 DMX universes to units

-various movers, lustrs, colorsource pars on universes 1 and 2

-29-  Martin Stagebar2Ls (HSI mode, 6 "pixel" or cells),

-12- Elation Color Chorus 72 (HSI mode, 12 cells)

 

Non-problems:

all consoles work and are connected, we have control over all units

pixel map created and server/media layers patched.... preview screen shows map and layers running beautifully upon it

 

Problem: nothing happening! even the "flash" button on the pixel map edit screen has no result.

I'm sure it's that "one thing" i'm missing... all consoles have the same pixel control software

 

Any hit list of things to check would be greatly appreciated!

  • correct, complete control of lights. I've already tried the crossfade at various levels.

    what's really bugging me is that I can't even "flash' the selected channel in the editor via the button in the editor

    the map is created, the pixels are selected in the correct method and assigned to channels, in preview mode the media files play ... but no out put... when i get some lighting time i'm just gonna do one unit, or patch an address to one cell.
